Don’t let anything stop you from trying it for yourself and taking the boat by the steering wheel (that’s the saying, right?). Our rental department can help you find the perfect fit, whether you’re here for a short visit or just looking to try something new.
At SWS, we offer a wide range of boat and Jet Ski rentals, giving everyone the chance to get out on the water and experience Lake Life for themselves!
All SWS boat and Jet Ski rentals are based out of SWS Boatworks Port Carling. We also offer Jet Ski rentals at Deerhurst Resort and The Rosseau JW Marriott Resort and Spa.
Boat Rentals
Rental Details
1. All rentals require all drivers to have a Pleasure Craft Operators Card (boater’s license). Don’t have one? Click here to take the Boatsmart test.
2. All rentals are plus gas and tax.
3. All SWS boat and Jet Ski rentals are based out of SWS Boatworks Port Carling and can be taken to Lake Rosseau, Lake Joe and Lake Muskoka. We also offer Jet Ski rentals at Deerhurst Resort and The Rosseau JW Marriott Resort and Spa.
4. We are able to trailer rental boats to the following lakes ONLY Brandy Lake, Butterfly Lake, Bass Lake, 3 Mile Lake, Skeleton Lake, Lenard Lake, Clear Lake and Mary Lake
Where to explore
Rosseau Farmer's Market - every Friday 9am-2pm, public docks
Windermere House Resort - public docks and beach, 3 restaurants
Rosseau Public Beach - public docks, beach, playground, washrooms, town is walking distance with restaurants and shops
Port Sandfield - public docks, great deli sandwiches and ice cream at Silver Streams Farms
Port Carling - Shopping and Restaurants, lots of options, public docking on both sides of the locks
Lake Joe - lots of big new builds to see, lunch at Watersedge, docking at the restaurant
Lake Rosseau - Cruise around Tobins island, boat up to Rosseau, boat by JW Marriott (lunch option), and Clevelands House Resort (historic but not operational anymore)
Joe River Cruise - up the Joe River, through the narrows, down through the Port Sandfield bridge
SWS Ski Show - Tuesday at 7:30pm all summer in Windsor Park Bala
